We are looking for a Full Time Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for a high-paying position in a homecare setting. This job is one-on-one care assisting geriatric patients with long-term chronic illnesses, not patients recently returning from the hospital. The Occupational Therapy Assistant supports the Occupational Therapist in implementing treatment plans to help patients regain independence in daily activities. They assist with therapeutic exercises, adaptive equipment, and client education, while documenting progress and communicating with the care team. The Private Duty COTA provides personalized, one-on-one care to patients in their homes or healthcare facilities. Both experienced Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants and new grad Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants are welcome. This Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant position is with a home care company that has been in business many years, therefore it has stability and longevity. Requirements of the Home Care Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant position: The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant must have an Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assisting and a license to practice COTA in the state.
