Overview

We are looking for a Full Time (30-40 hours a week) Physical Therapist (PT) for a very flexible position in home health care. This position offers a lot of flexibility, as the therapist schedules directly with their own patients, therefore you get to decide when you start and end your day to a large degree, and you can schedule your patients around your own life appointments and events. The Physical Therapist can work anywhere from 30-40 hours a week but must be willing to cover at least 4 days a week. The pay and benefits for this Physical Therapy position are very generous. This Physical Therapist (PT) position is in the Home Health setting doing homecare visits with adult and geriatric patients. The PT is not required to have home health experience-- we will accept Physical Therapists with at least 1 year of experience with adults or geriatrics (a year of licensed experience). This Physical Therapy position is with a homecare company that has been in business many years, therefore it has stability and longevity. HOME HEALTH CARE PT JOB REQUIREMENTS: We will accept Physical Therapists with 1 year of experience with adults and geriatrics in ANY setting, however if the therapist does have experience with med/surg patients, that is a plus including Emergency Room, Emergency Department, rehabilitation Center / skilled nursing facility SNF, home health care / visiting nurse setting, rehab hospital, correctional facility, hospital / medical center, Intensive Care Unit ICU, Medical Intensive Care Unit MICU, Surgical Intensive Care Unit SICU, Definitive Observation Unit DOU, Critical Care Unit CCU, float / pool therapist. Any experience will be accepted as long as the Physical Therapist has at least two years of licensed experience with adults and geriatrics.  The Physical Therapist must have a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.  The Physical Therapist must have a license to practice Physical Therapy in the state.  The Physical Therapist MUST either be a US Citizen or have your green card-- no exceptions.  This company requires a COVID-19 vaccine. 5. This is not shift work, but is seeing 3-7 pt./day in their homes or senior living facilities. You will be driving from patient home to patient home & most patients will be close together but sometimes you may have to drive 20-40 minutes to reach a patient's home, therefore; about half your day will be spent driving. Traveling is part of your salary plus you will get additional pay for mileage, but I want to make sure that you are fine with traveling as that is an integral part of home health?
