Overview

We are hiring a Part-Time Weekend Registered Nurse (RN) for a stable and well-established home health care agency. This is a Saturday and Sunday position with set hours of 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM each day. The pay is very competitive, and you’ll work independently in the field, making a real difference for adult and geriatric patients in their homes.

Schedule:

  • Every Saturday & Sunday

  • 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

  • Consistent hours and patient visits—no shift work

About the Role:
You’ll visit patients in their homes or senior living communities, typically seeing multiple patients per day. The agency offers a structured environment, strong support, and reliable scheduling. While home health experience is preferred, we are open to RNs with at least 1 year of hands-on experience with adult or geriatric med/surg patients in settings like hospitals, SNFs, rehab centers, or hospice.

Requirements:

  • Current RN license in the state

  • At least 1 year of recent experience with adult/geriatric med-surg patients (SNF, rehab, hospital, home health, hospice, ICU, etc.)

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder

  • Comfortable with traveling between patient homes and handling clinical documentation (OASIS)

Please include answers to the following in your application:

1. Are you available to work every Saturday and Sunday, 8 AM – 4:30 PM?

2. What days and times are you available for a quick phone interview in the next 24–48 hours?

3. You’ll be traveling between patient homes (sometimes 20–40 mins between). Are you comfortable with driving as a core part of this role?

4. There is a lot of paperwork in home health. Are you okay with this?

5. The position pays $32 - $48 an hour depending on experience. Can you please confirm you are ok with this pay rate?

6. Tell us about your recent hands-on experience with skilled nursing care (wound care, wound vacs, med management, blood draws, patient education, etc.). What skills have you performed, where, and when (approx. month/year)?

7. What is your best email address for follow-up?
