Overview

We are hiring a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a Health Care Coordinator. The RN manages the healthcare of individuals receiving services from the Department of Developmental Services (DDS); provides supervision to licensed staff; offers consultation to certified staff; serves as an advocate; oversees the Medication Administration Program (MAP); and provides ongoing training and support to team members.

 

 

About the Role:

  • Oversee and coordinate the healthcare of individuals receiving DDS services.

  • Review physician orders, medications, and treatment plans.

  • Provide clinical consultation and support to licensed and certified staff.

  • Ensure compliance with DDS and MAP (Medication Administration Program) regulations.

  • Serve as a liaison between the agency, DDS, and healthcare providers.

  • Conduct periodic health record reviews and on-site visits.

  • Supervise LPNs, assist with hiring and training, and provide ongoing staff education.

  • Attend team and DDS meetings to support overall healthcare planning.

Requirements:

  • Active RN license in Massachusetts

  • Minimum 3 years of nursing experience

  • U.S. citizen or green card holder (no exceptions)
