Overview

We are seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as the Director of Patient Care Services for a growing hospice organization.


This is a unique leadership opportunity to help establish and build a hospice program from the ground up. This position is with a well-established home hospice company with many years of success that is now expanding into the Pittsburgh area.


The Director of Patient Care Services will play a key role in launching operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, and developing a strong interdisciplinary team. Initially, this role will include hands-on patient visits. As census grows, the RN will have the opportunity to hire and build a full clinical support team.


We are looking for a nurse leader who is energetic, intelligent, and creative, with a strong understanding of hospice care and the ability to grow a program while maintaining clinical excellence. The selected RN will be fully supported by an experienced executive leadership team, providing guidance, resources, and strategic support throughout the growth process.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse (RN), active state license required

  • Recent hospice management experience

  • Strong knowledge of hospice-at-home rules and regulations

  • Leadership mindset with energy, creativity, and strong clinical judgment
