Overview

A small, nurse-owned home health agency is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide care to patients in their homes.

 

This opportunity offers exceptional flexibility. You make your own schedule and choose how much you want to work. The agency can support anything from a few per-diem visits to a full-time caseload.

  • Dorchester

Cases may also be available in Weymouth, Braintree, and Roxbury.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Evaluate and treat patients in their homes
  • Develop individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans
  • Help patients improve their strength, mobility, balance, and independence
  • Collaborate with the PTA, nurses, physicians, and other members of the care team
  • Provide therapeutic interventions and home exercise recommendations
  • Assist with care coordination and discharge planning
  • Complete required clinical documentation

Requirements:

  • PT Degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate)

  • Active PT license in MA

  • At least 1 year of treating PT expereince 

  • Reliable transportation for local patient visits
  • Ability to work independently in patients’ homes
  • Authorized to work in the United States; employer-sponsored work visas are not available for this position
