Seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) who would like to start part-time to get their feet wet and then move into full-time as the terrirory grows. Once the therapist hits full-time they will be making 109,000 per year, but they need to be willing to start with 32 hours per week. It's a very flexible position in home health care-- you make your own schedule. The Occupational Therapist will be doing home health visits to patients who live in two Assisted Living Facilities- one in Loveland & one in Fort Collins, so the traveling will be minimum for homecare but the therapist will still get paid the same high rate they would if they were traveling to multiple houses. This position will have the opportunity to move into full-time quickly if they want to. The pay and benefits for this Occupational Therapist position are very generous. This Occupational Therapist (OT) position is in the Home Health setting doing homecare visits with adult and geriatric patients. Home care experience is not required, however the Occupational Therapist must have at least a year of experience in any setting (In other words must have had your license for at least one year). This Occupational Therapy position is with a homecare company that has been in business many years, therefore it has stability and longevity.
Benefits of the Home Health Occupational Therapist position if you move into full-time:
-The therapist can choose to be paid per vist or Salary. The per visit rates are $60-$75 per visit-- and the therapist can choose to be full-time hour at the per visit rate if they would like. Or they can choose to be salaried, which is generally between $80,000 to $90,000 per year. Each visit takes around a half hour, give or take, and with travel each visit ends up taking an hour or possibly a little more. An example yearly salary for per visit is $109,000 per year (30 visits x $70/visit x 52 weeks equals 109,000 per year).

Requirements of the Homecare Occupational Therapist: Must be an Occupational Therapist with at least one year of experience in any setting. Must be licensed in the state as an Occupational Therapist. Must be a citizen of the US or have your green card- no exceptions. Must have a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy.
