  • Overview

Seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) for a very flexible position in home health care- you make your own schedule as far as when you start and end.  The pay and benefits for this Physical Therapy position are very generous. This Physical Therapist (PT) position is in the Home Health setting doing homecare visits with adult and geriatric patients. Home care experience is not required, however the Physical Therapist must have at least a year of experience in any setting (In other words must have had your license for at least one year). This Physical Therapy position is with a homecare company that has been in business many years, therefore it has stability and longevity.

Benefits of the Home Health Physical Therapist position:

    • The pay is $90 per visit and each visit takes around an hour with travel and paperwork time.  For full-time 40 hours, the PT is only expected to do 25 to 30 patient visits per week, so the Physical Therapist would make between $117,000 per year ($90/visit x 30 visits x 52 weeks = $117,000) to $140,000 per year ($90 x 30vists x 52 weeks - $140,000/year) depending on how many visits the therapist decides to do each week.
