  • Overview

Seeking a Full-time, part-time, or per diem Occupational Therapist (OTR) for a very flexible position in homecare- the OT makes their own schedule as far as when they start and end.  The pay and benefits are very generous. This Occupational Therapy (OTR) position is in the Home Health setting doing homecare visits with adult and geriatric patients. Homecare experience is not required, however must have at least a year of experience in any setting (In other words must have had your license for at least one year).  This Occupational Therapy position is with a homecare company that has been in business many years, therefore it has stability and longevity.

Benefits of the Home Health Occupational Therapist position:

    • The pay is $90 per visit and each visit takes around an hour with travel and paperwork time.  For full-time 40 hours, the OT is only expected to do 25 to 30 patient visits per week, so the Occupational Therapist would make between $117,000 per year ($90/visit x 25 visits x 52 weeks = $117,000) to $140,000 per year ($90 x 30 vists x 52 weeks - $140,000/year) depending on how many visits the therapist decides to do per week.  The Occupational Therapist is also welcome to do more than 30 visits if they would like to make extra money.
