  • Overview

Seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) for a very flexible position in home health care- you make your own schedule as far as when you start and end.  In addition, we will entertain full-time, part-time, or per diem Physical Therapists for this position. The pay and benefits for this Physical Therapy position are very generous. The Physical Therapist will be paid $80,000 - $90,000 for up to 30 visits a week.  Any additional visit you do after that will be paid at $65/visit.  If the PT does just 5 additional visits per week, that equals $16,900 extra per year!  There is opportunity for the Physical Therapist to advance into a treating Supervisor role if the Physical Therapist desires.  The PT Supervisor would be treating 70% of the time and supervising 30% of the time.  The PT Supervisor must have 5+ years of therapy experience in a home health care environment and experience/ interest in supervising.  This Physical Therapist (PT) position is in the Home Health setting doing homecare visits with adult and geriatric patients.  The Physical Therapist is NOT required to have home health experience-- we will accept Physical Therapists with a year of experience with adults or geriatrics (a year of licensed experience) in any of the following settings:  skilled nursing facility SNF, rehab center, healthcare center, outpatient, inpatient, assisted living facility ALF, homecare / home health, adult daycare center, or hospital.  This Physical Therapy position is with a homecare company that treats their staff like family - it has been in business many years, therefore it has stability and longevity.

Some of the benefits of the Home Health Physical Therapist position:

    • The pay is very generous - You will be paid $80,000 - $90,000 for up to 30 visits a week (rate depends on experience).  Each visit takes about a half hour and then with paperwork and travel you can generally get each visit done in about an hour.  So it's essentially 80-90,000 for 30 hours of work.  In addition any additional visit you do after that will be paid at $65/visit. If the PT does just 5 additional visits per week, that equals $16,900 extra per year!  So the PT could make 107,000 per year or more at this position.
