    Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a position in Home Health Care. Experience in Home Health is NOT required, however the nurse must have at least 2 years of experience with geriatric medical/surgical patients in the hospital or SNF setting.   The pay and benefits are generous for this Registered Nurse Position and the schedule is very flexible.   This homecare company is privately owned by a nurse, so the company is not run like a corporation where people are just a number, and the owner does understand the barriers that the healthcare professionals face.   In fact, it is the only privately owned homecare company in the area.  It is well established and has a very good reputation in the community. This agency is steadily growing while other homecare agencies are dying a slow death.  In addition, the average age of the population that the registered nurse will attend to is 74.  We also have several Assisted Living Facility patients, so the visits are close together.   The homecare company that has been in business many years, therefore it has stability and longevity.  The field registered nurse position in home health care is sometimes called a case manager, as you will be managing the cases of your home healthcare patients.

    REQUIREMENTS FOR THE HOME HEALTH CASE MANAGER:  The Registered Nurse must either have home health experience or at least 2 years experience with geriatric medical/surgical patients in the SNF or hospital settingThe Registered Nurse must be a registered nurse (RN).  The Registered Nurse must be licensed in the state. The Registered Nurse must also be willing to make a committment of at least 35 to 40 hours per week.
