  • Overview

Seeking an Occupational Therapist (OTR) for a very flexible, high-paying position in homecare- the OT makes their own schedule as far as when they start and end. In addition, we will entertain full time or part time Occupational Therapists for this position. The pay and benefits for this Occupational Therapist position are very generous. This Occupational Therapy (OTR) position is in the Home Health setting doing homecare visits with adult and geriatric patients. The Occupational Therapist is NOT required to have homecare experience, however the Occupational Therapist must have at least a year of experience in any setting (In other words must have had your license for at least one year).   We will accept Occupational Therapists with a year of experience with adults or geriatrics (a year of licensed experience) in any of the following settings:  skilled nursing facility SNF, rehab center, healthcare center, outpatient, assisted living facility ALF, homecare / home health,  adult daycare center, or hospital.  This Occupational Therapy position is with a homecare company that has been in business many years, therefore it has stability and longevity.

Some of the Benefits of the Home Health Occupational Therapist position:

    • The pay is $72 per visit and each visit takes around an hour with travel and paperwork time.  So essentially the OT would make $72 per hour.  For full-time 40 hours, the OT would do at least 25 to 30 patient visits per week, so at that level of visits, the Occupational Therapist would make between $93,600 per year ($72/visit x 25 visits x 52 weeks = $93,600) to $112,320 per year ($72 x 30vists x 52 weeks - $112,320/year) depending on how many patient visits the therapist chooses to do each week.  In addition the Occupational Therapist is welcome to do over 30 visits per week and make extra money.  Doing just 5 extra visits per week would make the therapist $18,720 extra per year.
