Seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant PTA full-time in a Medical Adult Daycare and Outpatient setting. This Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) need is in a medical adult day care, so it is a unique setting that most physical therapist assistants don't have the opportunity to work in. The attendees are patients that had a hospital stay and are well enough to go home, but still have some medical and rehab needs, so they go to this adult daycare to get therapy, nursing, and recreation needs filled. The medical adult day care facility has its own rehab room, friendly cooperative environment, and good interdisciplinary communication. We will only entertain PTAs who can do full-time hours.
For full-time the PTA will be required to cover 1 Adult Daycare and 1 Outpatient Clinic-- one in the morning and one in the afternoon. The Adult Daycare and the Outpatient Clinic are both located in Silver Spring. The Physical Therapist Assistant will be paid for drive time in between buildings and have some freedom to get outside for a bit. In addition, the schedule is very flexible. The Physical Therapist Assistant can start the day whenever the PTA chooses - even for full-time the physical therapy assistant is welcome to start anywhere from 8am to 10am for example and then work their day from there. The workday can be set up various ways depending on how many hours per week the physical therapist assistant is hired for.
*Pay and Benefits for the Physical Therapist Assistant position:*
