  • Overview

Seeking a full-time, part-time, or per diem Physical Therapist (PT) for a very flexible, high-paying position in home health care- you make your own schedule including when you start and end.  The pay and benefits for this Physical Therapy position are very generous. This Physical Therapist (PT) position is in the Home Health setting doing homecare visits with adult and geriatric patients in Ventura County. The Physical Therapist is NOT required to have home health experience-- we will accept Physical Therapists with a year of experience with adults or geriatrics (a year of licensed experience) in any of the following settings: skilled nursing facility SNF, rehab center, healthcare center, outpatient, inpatient, assisted living facility ALF, homecare / home health, adult daycare center, or hospital. This Physical Therapy position is with a homecare company that has been in business many years, therefore it has stability and longevity.   In addition, we will entertain full-time or part-time Physical Therapists for this position.

Some of the Benefits of the Home Health Physical Therapist position:

    • The pay is $65 per visit and each visit takes around an hour with travel and paperwork time. So essentially the therapist would make $65 per hour.  For full-time 40 hours, the PT would be expected to do at least 25 to 30 patient visits per week, and with that many visits the Physical Therapist would make $101,400 per year ($65 x 30vists x 52 weeks - $101,400/year). In addition, the Physical Therapist is welcome to do over 30 visits per week and make extra money.  Doing just 5 extra visits per week would make the therapist $17,000 extra per year, which would be $118,400 per year total. And seeing as though each visit takes around an hour with travel and paperwork, 35 visits in a 40-hour week is very doable. In addition, the Physical Therapist is paid at $128 for each start of care.
