We are looking for a Full-Time experienced Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) for a Quality Assurance position in home health. The RN must live in the area and come into the office daily. The Registered Nurse must have a minimum of 1 year home health nursing experience including complete competence in filling out the OASIS form. The Quality Assurance nurse must be able to work independently. Equally important is the QA RN’s ability to communicate effectively to clinical staff regarding critical issues related to patient care. The Quality Assurance RN must have thorough knowledge of current home health care and nursing standards of practice. The Registered Nurse must have working knowledge of the most current version of Microsoft Office including Excel and have some familiarity with medical data base systems. Experience as a Quality Improvement (QI), Quality Assurance (QA), Utilization Review (UR), or Quality Review (QR) Nurse is a plus but is not required. The Quality Assurance RN (QA RN) is responsible for auditing clinical staff’s recording of patient care to identify errors, patient safety and staff performance issues and typical Quality Improvement measures.
